Happy Halloween!
I went "interval jogging/walking" this morning. Just read in a magazine that alternating 10 seconds at max effort, then 20 seconds at decent pace is the best way to burn fat. Well, I have plenty of that. So, looking like an idiot, jogging...at my age...I ran/walked around the gym parking lot in 30 degree weather, while everyone else worked out inside. (You can't make 10 and 20 second intervals like that on treadmill...too short of a time frame.) My breath looked like a huge vapor in the air, and my legs were cold (I had on SHORTS, mind you). It was so cold that my ears were hurting.
But, I am now SO MUCH SKINNIER that it was worth it all.
